Steering committee
Marc Bertomeu
Co-Founder and COO
of Next Stage Arenas
Marc Bertomeu
Graduated in Political Science with a Master’s in Communication, I built my career at the intersection of sports, technology, and fan experience. For over five years at EuroLeague Basketball, I served as Innovation Manager, leading the league’s first Virtual Reality broadcast experiences at the 2021 and 2022 Final Fours and launching the EB Tech Challenge and Fan XP Innovation Challenge — programs that sourced and integrated global technology solutions to reshape how fans engage with elite basketball. I also directed the EB SAP Hackathon and conceived the “Flight Time” activation for Turkish Airlines, combining sponsor brand storytelling with cutting-edge fan engagement mechanics.
As co-founder and COO of Next Stage Arenas — a Barcelona-based startup building an integrated multipurpose arena operating platform across Europe — I now work across the full stack of live sports infrastructure: venue development, commercial strategy, and the systems that connect operators, rights holders, and audiences. I bring that experience to my advisory work with a focus on technology that solves real operational problems and creates lasting value across the sports ecosystem.

Dr. Antonio Tramullas
Director of Sports Medicine and Performance,
Sevilla FC
Antonio Tramullas
Global sports medicine physician and former elite athlete with leadership
experience at FC BARCELONA (basketball and football first teams). Medical Director of the Aspire Academy Sports Medicine Center (ASPETAR) in Doha, Qatar. Team physician at SYDNEY FC (Asian Champions League). Team physician at AL SADD football team in Doha, Qatar. Director of Sports Medicine and Performance at SEVILLA FC. Different countries, different cultures, different sports… My leadership signature in the sports medicine and performance field is the
integrative management of athlete´s health & performance. Without health is not possible to perform and without performance, athlete’s health is impaired (mainly mental). The athlete’s case management MUST be a teamwork between different experts (physician, physiotherapist, nutritionist, psychologist, sleep expert, sport science, neuroscientist…) working for the same goal, the athlete, without egos…
